Halloween!

Charlotte wanted to be a duck all September. We were at JoAnn's Fabric Store to buy duck costume supplies when she saw multi-colored feather boas and decided that she wanted to be a "rainbow bird" instead. Pat made the colorful leotard when she and Ed were visiting at the beginning of the month, and I added the embellishments: wings, head piece, felted rain boot bird feet, beak, and boas....

Charlotte had a fascination/fear of skunks this summer and we were joking that she should be a skunk for Halloween... She said that Julia can be the skunk... OK!

Here they are getting ready to knock on the door of the first house (of our friends, the Karroums). Then, Julia runs off and CB is calling her back.... They ended up getting the hang of it after several houses; it takes practice.
