Charlotte started reading books tonight! We were playing a little spelling game at dinner which turned into my writing down words for her to decode. I told her that if she can read the words I'm writing down like "fish" "slam" and "stop", she can probably read the BOB books we have. She was so excited that she grabbed them off the shelf, plopped down on the couch and read the first four. They're nice simple books with sentences like "Mat sat on Sam" and "Dot had a dog. The dog had a bag." She was so proud of herself.
She is so wonderful.
