Late August

CB called, "Mom, you've got to get a picture of this!" This is the picture:

We went camping with friends at Ruth Lake. CB told me that she LOVES camping. There were six 5 year old girls and they all had a blast.  

I've been thinking a lot about CB going to Kindergarten and have been really relishing the way the girls play together all day. We'll all miss this. I snapped a couple pics one day to document it.  Here they are peeling crayons and coloring together:

We visited CB's class yesterday and love the big bright room and the teacher, Mrs. McNeill. There are several centers: writing, science, art, house/kitchen, library, listening, computer, blocks... She'll have music and PE 2x/wk, running club on Friday, and library on Tues.

Julia really liked the play dough and she spent some time at the easel painting a purple picture, too. 

We are having the first sunny morning in two months, so I'm off to go enjoy it!
