I found an almost new game of Twister at the thrift store -a perfect Christmas gift.
On 12/27, it was sunny after a few days of cold rain, so we took a drive less than 30 mi. up to Horse Mountain. Julia conked out on the way up the hill, still tired from all the Christmas excitement.
Julia was a little nervous in the snow but she warmed up to it. It was so light and fluffy, and off the trail, you could sink in to about your hip.
I forgot my jacket! Steve's so sweet, he let me wear his and he wore the extra windbreaker he has stashed in the car.
There was some fog here and there, and when the sky peaked through it was such a pretty blue.
