It actually wasn't too hard to put together. Yesterday, for mother's day, Steve gave me plenty of time to myself out in the garage to finish up the varnishing. This morning, Julia and I first organized and labeled every piece with a post-it note before assembling it (she helped by rubbing the old carriage bolts on soap to make them easier to use). Next, Steve's going to help me with making a bobbin winder and a warping board, and I need to read up on counter balance looms.
