out in the garage

I've been out in the garage.

Do you remember I got the loom for free and had to refurbish the wood parts, find the plans, and rebuild it? 

I'm happy to say, it went together fine, all the pieces were there, and I just completed my first project.  I designed a project for six twill towels, but I got seven -BONUS!

I was worried I wouldn't be into a counterbalance loom because I had learned how to weave on a jack loom.  There are definitely big differences in the feel and the action but I am used to it now and can say I'm happy with both styles.  

Here's the awesoe set up:  fire in the store, children working on Valentines next to me...
