A gorgeous day for heading into the city via train.

Boats on the river offer tours of the ciy. The girls haven't done that yet, so next time, that's on our list.

We stopped by Millennium park to check out the fountains and sculptures and get a view of Lake Michigan.

Here we are in front of the Cloud Gate sculpture, aka "The Bean".
We headed over to the Purple Pig for lunch. I've got to figure out how to make their turkey leg confit; the meat is so tender that it falls off the bone. I'm not even a big fan of turkey, but I couldn't resist it. Well, now you know what to get if you go to the Purple Pig.
