Do you remember when Honey Bear came to visit when CB was in Kindergarten? Well, Julia finally got her turn. For a class project, he comes to visit with books to read, a toothbrush for good hygiene, and a journal to record his time during the visit.
Sprouted rye bread, my latest baking endeavors are seedy.
Evidence that we need to move the girls out of their toddler beds.
Getting so tall, My Kindergartner:
And she's lost her first tooth. Teary eyed, she managed to pose for a photo. Losing the first tooth can be really traumatic.
It all started when I was out gardening and Julia came running out crying to tell me her tooth was loose. She was scared! A couple of days later, in the morning before going to school, she said she wanted it out right now and asked ME to pull it out. It was really easy to pull out but it really gave me the creeps -you know those nightmares where your teeth fall out? It was like that.
It was a sweet ending, at school that morning, the teacher had the class do a cheer and put her name on the tooth chart.
We dog-sitted Molly, a lab mix, for a week in October. What a sweet dog and the girls loved her.
As much as I liked her, she cured me of wanting a dog. I couldn't stand the dog hair.
But I might let the girls get a dog someday just because they loved having a dog so much.
Steve! He liked having Molly here, too.
CB picked up every dog poo. I couldn't believe it, and I was really happy to be relieved from that job. Proving how responsible she can be with a dog?
