A date! Steve and I went into the city for the day. We stopped by Tartine for cappuccinos and sandwiches, lounged in Dolores Park for awhile, then dropped by My Dutch Bike to test ride some Dutch bikes.
CB learned how to swim in the spa at Grandma and Grandpa's.
It was so nice to feel some summer heat -like 90 degrees! It's been 61 and drizzly in Humboldt County for weeks.
The day CB learned to swim, she was in the pool from 1 to 5 o'clock.

We went to the Academy of Sciences in SF to check out the Rainforest exhibit and the aquariums.
Then, my camera died. Sad to say, I didn't get any extra pictures of the girls with the grandparents. They loved their time there and keep asking me when they're going to get to go back. Ed retires today, July 31st! I'm sure we'll be seeing more of him now. Congratulations!
