Christmas at Home

We celebrated Christmas a little early this year since we planned on driving down to Walnut Creek on Christmas Eve. On the eve before Christmas eve, we opened one gift. Here's Steve with his gem, just what he'd been asking for: the Vanilla Ice autobiography. Julia's chewing on her gift: a knit teddy bear from the Orum family.

Charlotte picked the biggest present she could find (luckily, it was for her). Great Grandma Shoe gave her Sesame Street Legos. She had so much fun rebuilding cookie monster's apartment.

"Santa came to our house!" Charlotte grabbed the stockings and delivered them to everyone in bed. She had told me Santa would bring her candy canes and a Christmas orange. Lucky girl, that's just what she got.

Steve and I each took Charlotte to the toy store in December. On each of our visits, CB grabbed the stroller on display and pushed it all over the store. It's the perfect size for her doll, Molly. Good job, Santa.

What a pleasant morning... We had breakfast, packed, and jumped in the car to make our way to Walnut Creek, and we arrived just in time for a Christmas eve dinner of fondue... yum.
